San Corporation's second project with Eggbox Studios

Eggbox Studios recently completed animations for the second phase of San Corporation's V12 Magnum online product launch.

The previous animation introduced the new product with a complex journey through a hybrid car/human, biomechanical bodybuilder being powered by a V12 heart pumping V12 Magnum through his veins. The new series of animations show how the product works throughout the body before, during and after a workout.

Originally the main character was to be covered with skin and key areas highlighted with an x-ray view but very early on in the development it was decided to go with an almost classroom anatomy model look. This made the animations extremely complex as all of the major muscle groups needed to be created and work together without any noticeable 'popping' and intersecting.

With San's reputation amongst the bodybuilding community it was also important to create the muscular and vascular system as accurately as possible whilst not distracting the viewer with unneccessary details.
